Prof. Peristera Paschou

Prof. Peristera Paschou is the Head of Biological Sciences and Director of Global Partnerships for the College of Science at Purdue University, holding a Ph.D. from the University of Athens and postdoctoral training from Yale. Operating at the intersection of Data Science and genomics, her research maps human genetic variation to decode neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders. A Showalter Faculty Scholar, Dr. Paschou is a global leader in neurodevelopmental genetics, serving as Co-Chair of the ENIGMA-Tourette Syndrome Working Group and PI on a major international NINDS project analyzing large-scale datasets from over 12,000 patients worldwide.
