Dr. Jian Liang

Dr. Jian Liang is an Associate Professor and Master’s Supervisor at Jiangxi University of Chinese Medicine, where he received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Analysis from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University in 2013. He joined the Research Center for Traditional Chinese Medicinal Resources and Ethnic Medicine at Jiangxi University of Chinese Medicine and has since been engaged in both teaching and research.

His research focuses on the pharmacodynamic material basis and quality standards of traditional Chinese medicine. He teaches courses including Chinese Materia Medica and Pharmacology to international students, integrating traditional Chinese medicine, pharmaceutical analysis, and the latest developments in pharmaceutical research into his teaching.

Professor Liang has led or participated in more than 20 research projects, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 30 academic papers, including over 20 papers as first or corresponding author in journals such as Phytomedicine, Analytical Chemistry, and Food Chemistry International. He received the Third Prize of the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Award. In 2018, he spent one year as a visiting scholar at Middle Tennessee State University, USA. He is currently a member of the Professional Committee of Traditional Chinese Medicine Analysis of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, a council member of the China Ethnic Medicine Association, and a SAC expert of ISO/TC 249.
